Praise the Lord for firsts! Firsts are always exciting and monumental in life. A first birthday, a first tooth, your first car or job, your first heartbreak. There is no denying firsts are memorable and not easily forgotten. This past Sunday, our church family experienced a first. Our first baptism celebration took place as part of our morning worship service. We have been using another local church for the past five years and have had baptisms on a quarterly basis. Well, that all changed this past week as we added a water trough to our sanctuary and baptized 4 individuals who identified and proclaimed Christ through the obedience in baptism. It was a joy to hear the stories of God's grace in claiming four individuals as His children...and all in front of the church family. Praise the Lord for the many ways He continues to pour out His blessings on our church family. Thank you God for this special first and we look forward to the opportunity to see many more be added to the Kingdom!
