Offering Non-professional, Confidential Peer-to-Peer Biblical Counseling
The volunteer counselors at Through the Valley believe that the Bible is the inerrant word of God and is sufficient for instruction, understanding and guidance in regard to all issues of life.
All counseling is based on scriptural principles rather than main stream counseling, coaching, psychology and psychiatric services.
The counseling you receive will be based on the counselor’s understanding of the Bible and how the principles found in scripture apply to questions, problems and issues you may have.
Counselors may or may not have certifications or degrees in counseling. All have undergone training.

The goal of our counseling ministry is to give you biblical tools for better living.
You will receive homework each week that will help you in building up better habits in regard to your spiritual walk.
Initial counseling will be set up for 12 sessions, with more sessions arranged if needed. However the goal is to have you set on a good path and no longer needing our services.
Counseling Fees
There is a $25.00 fee that will be collected at the start of counseling. Make checks payable to Upper Perkiomen Community Church. Our counselors volunteer their time to counsel and prepare to counsel. If appointments are cancelled without adequate notice, 48 hours preferably, we reserve the right to require an additional $25 deposit before counseling resumes.
General Info to Consider When Getting Started
Through the Valley will request the completion of an application form, giving basic information about you and the reason you are seeking counseling.
Your information will be kept confidential! Only your counselor and the administrators of the ministry will have access.
Currently, only In-Person sessions are being offered at this time.
