Purpose of Youth Ministry
E.D.G.E. - Eternally Driven by God’s Example
The UPCC student ministry exists to produce passionate students who desire to impact their schools and peers with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We desire our students to take ownership of the church by using their passions and talents to serve in our church body. We also desire for parents to be highly engaged in the ministry through participating in family activities, taking advantage of opportunities to speak, and hosting youth activities.
Junior High E.D.G.E.
For 6th-8th grade students, our junior high student ministry seeks to provide high energy and interactive teaching of God’s Word coupled with fun activities that provide connectivity among peers and youth staff. Whether it’s a trip to the bowling alley or a small group discussion on living out your faith in school, we look to point our students to a loving and active God that they can grow to love.
Senior High E.D.G.E.
For 9th-12th grade students, our senior high ministry is passionate about students being “doers” of the Word and not just “hearers”. Our teens are encouraged and challenged to actively live out their faith on a daily basis. We seek to have have our youth group be a foundation training ground of Biblical teaching and strong Christian relationships that launch our students out as salt and light to the world around them.
*All youth activities can be found on the church calendar located on the homepage
