Introduction
- Give Generously
We are all created in the image of God - the great giver Himself! At UPCC we challenge
our church body to reflect that image in the sharing of time, treasure, and talent in an
abundant, joyful manner. Jesus came that we might live life and live it abundantly. What
better way to do so than to live our lives with an open palm, not holding tightly to God’s
many blessings in our lives. Giving cheerfully and abundantly of all that God has given
to each of us is one way for us to worship God every day.
What does Jesus see? (vs. 41-42)
- The giving of the wealthy
- The giving of the poor
What does Jesus say? (vs. 43-44)
- He points out generosity
- He defines generosity
