• He was unable to help himself spiritually.
• He was able to celebrate what God did in Him.

The Love of Jesus (vv. 2, 5, 8-11)

• He preached the Word to them.
• He saw what others could not see.
• He showed that he could heal holistically.
• He proved that he was the Christ.

The Lessons We Can Learn

• Real friends are needed now more than ever.
• Realizing our true need is necessary
• Relying on Christ for everything is the key.
