Opportunities to Bless Others

Check out these opportunities to serve our local community!

  • 242 Community Church: Our sister church is growing; their worship space is filling up and they are in need of additional seating. They found a bargain on matching chairs and are hoping to raise $3,000 over the next two weeks to purchase them. If you would like to contribute, you may either mail a check with "CHAIRS" in the memo to:  242 Community Church, 35 E Philadelphia Ave, Suite 2, Boyertown, PA  19512, or you can click here to go directly to their giving site and make a donation there; just click the 242 Church Chairs Fund.

  • Local Help Needed in Open Link Food Pantry Program -  Please click here for the list of items they are collecting for Thanksgiving. They also need additional volunteers to join the Pantry Volunteer Team. Volunteer needs include weekly service, monthly service, and as-needed service. Most pantry work involves standing, moving around and lifting of 30-50 pounds at any given time. Please click here to see the current needs and job descriptions

  • Regionally - Bethany Christian Services of Greater Delaware Valley is working hand in hand with Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service to provide tangible ways to help families coming to our country to escape the Taliban oppression. Click here to see the list of what is needed, and the local churches that are collecting Resettlement Refugee welcome items for recently displaced Afghan refugees. You can also click here to see additional ways you can help.

  • Worldwide - Samaritan's Purse's Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Event gives the opportunity for us to provide shoeboxes filled with needed and fun items to children around the world. We will have shoeboxes available for you to pick up and fill with needed school items, necessities, and a WOW item or two for children around the world. Click here to check out a short video about this wonderful way to share the good news of Jesus Christ to a world that needs Him, or click here for ideas on what to pack based on the various age groups. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Kelly Badea at kbadea@comcast.net.
