Apologetics Weekend at UPCC

Weekend Schedule: 

Saturday, March 28th (9am-12pm)

Our Saturday morning seminar will take an overview look at the key areas of Apologetics. Apologetics is the abilitiy to "give a defense" but what does that really mean? Travis Troyer and Don Stubss, from Off the Wall Ministries in New Philadelphia, Ohio, will be leading a time of teaching and discussion around the different types of apologetics including philosophical, biblical, presuppositional, moral, scientific, and experiential. Don't be scared by the big words! This time will be a very practical approach of taking these forms of apologetics and applying them to the objections we face today as Christians. 

Sunday, March 29th (9:30am & 11:00am)

We are excited to welcome Professor Mark Farnham from Lancaster Bible College and Capital Seminary to share with us both during our worship hour and conections hour. During our morning worship, Professor Farnham will be speaking on the importance of the believer really knowing the Scriptures in order to be able to engage in Apologetics. During our connections hour, he will be speaking on, "The Clash of Worldviews" with a brief look at how we as Christians should respond to ISIS and what his happening in the Middle East. 

We hope you can join us for a weekend of spiritual edification as we strive to be people who strive after understanding God's Word so we can better point people to our Saviour.
